Eligibility: Must make Honor Board during the 2025-2026 Season for High Series and/or High Game.
Format: Championship Bracket style Tournament with single game elimination down to final two people for the Championship and title “King of The Lanes”. Bracket will consist of two sides, an “A” Side and a “B” Side.
Qualification: Two Game Qualifier the day of the Tournament. Total number of pins over the two games plus Handicap will determine the Seeds for the Tournament Bracket Games. Overall Top Seed will lead “A” Side, second overall Seed will lead “B” Side.
Tournament Bracket Games: Championship Bracket Games will be single-elimination, head to head scratch games. Top Seeds determined by number of entries may receive an automatic 1st Round Bye. Remaining Seeds will play Round 1. Rounds will continue until final two play in the Championship Match which will determine the “King of The Lanes”. **Consolation Bracket: The Consolation Bracket will only be played if there are 12 or more entries. The Consolation Bracket will consist of those who lost in the 1st Round and 2nd Round. Seeding will be based on their scratch score in the round they were eliminated in. The format of the Consolation Bracket will be the same as the Championship Bracket. All rounds in the Consolation Bracket will also be single-elimination, head to head scratch games. Rounds will continue until final two play in the Consolation Championship Match.
Date: 1st Sunday in May (May 3rd, 2026). 1:00 PM Check-In, 1:50 PM Practice, 2:00 PM Start.
Entries: Eligible Players can enter the Tournament via the Tournament Page on Dave's Lanes Website. Entries open 30 Days prior to the Tournament and conclude the Friday before the Tournament. Day-of Entries will not be permitted. This will allow time to organize the prize pool and brackets ahead of the Tournament.
Fee: $40 Per Person paid during Check-In.
Payout: $30 of the Entry Fee is used in the Prize Pool, $10 to Dave's Lanes for Costs. Minimum Top 4 and up to Top 16 in Championship Bracket guaranteed pay depending on number of entries along with Top 2 in Consolation Bracket (no Consolation Bracket if 11 or less entries). Bonus Payout of $5 for every 250 Plus Game. Free Drink Card for Strikeout in 10th Frame (once for Tournament).
USBC: King of The Lanes is not a USBC Sanctioned Tournament. However, USBC Rules and Regulations will be enforced at this Tournament. General lane courtesies and etiquette will be followed by all participants.
