1.) Eligibility
Must have participated in a minimum of 21 games at the time of bowling in one league during the current, or 2023-2024, season in a USBC chartered local association in Wisconsin
All USBC tournament rules will apply
Bowlers are limited to one entry fo rthe doubles and singles event, but permitted to bowl more than one team event with at least two different bowlers.
Only the first team event bowled will count for all events
2.) Fees
Each event fee is $25.00 per bowler. Cash or check only. Please make checks payable to Hartford USBC.
3.) Averages and Handicap. Entering Averages will be as follows:
Highest USBC certified league average from the 2023-2024 season based on 21 games or more.
Use highest season average as of the time of bowling if it is 15 or more pins higher than last season
If no game average from 2023-2024 season, use current season average as of time of participation in the tournament of 21 games or more. If using current average, it must be verified 1 week prior to bowling.
If none of the above applies, the bowler will use a 225 average.
Tournament management reserves the right to rerate any entrant prior to bowling. If the entrant refueses to rerate, the entry fees will be refunded.
Tournament handicap will be 85% of the difference of 220 - the bowler's aveage.
4.) No pacers allowed during tournament play
5.) Each event must be completed within 3 hours and 30 minutes.
All sessions will get 15 minutes of practice prior to the event. For bowlers bowling both double and singles, the singles event will imediately follow the doubles event with no practice in between.
6.) All score corrections and/or average adjustments must be reported within 72 hours or original score stands.
7.) No refunds if a bowler starts bowling and does not complete the event.
8.) Award monies will be given to the top winner(s) in team, doubles, singles, and all events. Payouts will be based off the number of entries in to the tournament.
9.) Eligible Equipment
Bowling balls used must not be on the USBC revoked list.
If a bowler uses a ball with a thumb hole that is not used when making a delivery, the ball is illegal and games are subject to forfeiture. All holes drilled must be used for gripping purposes throughout every delivery.
10.) No abrasives or cleaners or other foreign substances may be used/applied to the ball once competition begins.
11.) All tournament rules are voted and agreed on by the Hartford USBC Association Board.
